The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a notice on 10th grade enrollment for a number of educational institutions for the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced administrative sanctions for schools that recruited more students than their assigned grade 10 quotas, including two high schools: Mac Dinh Chi recruited 32 more students than its assigned quota; Lac Long Quan High School recruited 38 more students than its quota.

Lac Long Quan High School is one of the schools that was punished for enrolling students beyond the assigned quota.

In addition, 3 colleges and intermediate schools were punished for recruiting more students, including: Hanoi College of Transport and Public Works (45 more students than the quota), Hanoi College (30 more students than the quota), and College of Commerce and Tourism (8 more students than the quota).

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training's enrollment quota assignment council also decided not to assign additional enrollment quotas to the following schools: Hanoi Star - Hoang Mai Inter-level School; Bac Duong High School; Everest Inter-level School as proposed by the schools.

The reason for the proposed addition of enrollment quotas for these schools is that they do not have sufficient legal basis regarding ownership, facilities, and location of operation.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training's admission quota assignment council also announced that it will re-examine the facilities of Van Hien High School.

Do not assign enrollment quotas to To Hien Thanh High School due to insufficient legal conditions for operating location.

Based on the conclusions of the inspection teams for admission conditions to grade 10, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also decided to assign a new grade 10 enrollment quota to Dwight Secondary and High School (a newly established school) with 1 class with 45 students.

In addition, additional quotas were assigned to the following schools: Lam Nghiep High School, Kinh Do High School, Nguyen Sieu Middle School and High School, Xa Dan Middle School with a total of 42 quotas; additional quotas were assigned to Ha Dong Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center for 1 class with 30 students.
