At the APAC Digital Talent Summit 2024, Huawei has had many activities in developing global young talents.
After the conference, six Vietnamese students and nearly 130 other international students will visit Huawei campuses in Shenzhen and Dongguan, participate in digital classes, and study technology and ICT applications.
All will also participate in the regional semi-finals of the Tech4Good Competition, with two winning teams advancing to the 2025 global finals in China and receiving funding opportunities, an experiential trip to China, and “1:1” discussions with Huawei leaders.
These are 6 young talents who surpassed a total of nearly 400 technology students who registered for the preliminary round of the program "Seeds for the Future 2024" season 9, co-organized by Huawei Vietnam, Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) and Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
40 students attended courses on AI, 5G, Cloud, Digital Power trained by Huawei, as well as participated in many activities to improve their academic knowledge and practical skills from August 13 to 21, 2024.
Mr. Macky Zhang, General Director of Huawei Vietnam expressed his joy: “For Seeds for the Future 2024, we strive to innovate activities, create conditions for students to gain practical experience, exchange directly and learn from practice more. Huawei Vietnam has been on the journey of nurturing sustainable digital talents for nearly a decade and will continue to innovate in the following seasons, to become a leader and companion of technology "seeds", supporting you to become the pillars of digital talent for Vietnam's sustainable digital future".
