According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Tourism on June 26, the capital's tourism has achieved many impressive figures in the first 6 months of the year. In particular, the number of international visitors with accommodation increased, reaching 2.58 million (equal to 70% of the total number of international visitors). Revenue from tourism is estimated at over 62,300 billion VND.
In June 2025 alone, tourism revenue reached 10,350 billion VND with 2.79 million domestic and foreign visitors.
Both qualitative and quantitative figures recorded double-digit growth compared to the same period in 2024.
Average room occupancy rate in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at 63.2%, down 0.7 percentage points compared to the same period in 2024.
Currently, Hanoi has over 3,760 accommodation establishments with over 71,200 rooms. Of these, 85 hotels and apartment complexes are within the 1-5 star rating period. The number of unregistered tourist accommodation establishments is over 3,600.
In the city, there are currently 97 service establishments recognized as meeting standards for serving tourists.
