Alibaba.com - the leading global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, in collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) organized the Vietnam National Finals of the KEL Award in Hanoi, to honor the best e-commerce sellers in Vietnam.

The event brought together six of the most talented National Finalists, along with impressive presentations to share their outstanding achievements and strategies that contributed to driving outstanding success on the Alibaba.com platform.

All six outstanding faces who entered the National Finals this year will become Alibaba.com Vietnam Ambassadors in 2024. Among them, Can Quang Sang (Marketing Director of Vihaba Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd.), Xuan Hai Yen (Deputy Director of Proline Vietnam Production and Trading Co., Ltd.) and Ha Thi Thu (E-commerce Manager of Karofi Group's International Business Department) were honored as Alibaba.com's Outstanding E-commerce Leaders in Vietnam in 2024.

These will also be the 3 representatives of Vietnam to attend the Regional Finals of the KEL Award, scheduled to take place in Hanoi later this year.

In addition, today's event also features the 2024 Audience Choice Award, which is Can Quang Sang, honored based on votes from the audience.

Mr. Mike Zhang, Country Manager of Alibaba.com Vietnam, emphasized the importance of the award by saying: “The KEL Award Vietnam is a testament to the excellence in entrepreneurship in Vietnam. We are proud to provide a platform for sellers to showcase their success and gain regional recognition. This event not only honors outstanding leaders, but also aims to support SMEs to grow sustainably and expand into international markets.”

The KEL Award aims to bring together leading suppliers from across South Asia and Southeast Asia to foster mutual learning and enhance communication, while providing a unique opportunity for contestants to expand their influence within Alibaba.com’s global community of buyers and sellers. With over 250 global sellers participating, the award provides a platform for Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to shine.

Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), emphasized: “This is an activity within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Trade Promotion Agency and the Alibaba.com e-commerce platform, aiming to find and honor talented exporters in Vietnam; we hope to build a strong community of online export sellers who can support, share and learn together to develop. The program is also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to spread their voices and make Vietnamese brands shine globally, to gain the attention of international customers and boost business efficiency”.
