Also attending were Ms. Tran Thu Mai, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Khanh Hoa province; leaders of local departments, branches and sectors and people of Phuoc Luong village.
Phuoc Luong village currently has a total natural area of 140.7 hectares, of which 80 hectares are for two-crop rice, with 404 households and 1,448 people. In the village, there are currently about 30 production and business establishments such as: tile production, laundry, rice milling, trading in agricultural materials, livestock...; of which, there is 1 product (agarwood incense) that meets OCOP standards and is certified with 3 stars. In addition, people in the village grow rice with a total area of nearly 90 hectares; of which, 80 hectares grow two-crop rice with a yield of 6.8 tons/ha/year. With efforts to overcome difficulties, in recent years, the economic , cultural and spiritual life of people in the village has gradually stabilized and developed. The rate of poor and near-poor households in the village has decreased gradually over the years, in 2024 alone, 3 households escaped near-poverty. To date, the village has only 4 poor households (1%) and 5 near-poor households (1.24%). People have actively responded to the movement "All people build a civilized life, cultural families", with 98% of households in the village achieving the title of cultural family.
Speaking at the festival, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh acknowledged and was delighted with the outstanding results in labor, production, improving the lives, building the government and community of the people in the village and commune. Including the contribution of the Phuoc Luong Village Front Committee and local people in propagating and promoting the precious tradition of national solidarity, diligence and creativity in labor, production and business; thereby doing well in poverty reduction, building cultural life in residential areas, ensuring security and order... Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that Khanh Hoa is in the decade of upgrading and developing. In particular, Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo has set the goal that by 2030 Khanh Hoa will become a centrally-run city; people will have a high standard of living, be peaceful and happy... To achieve this goal, the efforts of the entire political system and people in the province are needed.
At the same time, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh requested people to join hands to maintain security and order in villages and communes, so that they can always have a peaceful life. Along with that, they must always raise their vigilance, detect distorted arguments, appeals, and propaganda to sabotage the great national unity bloc. Constantly upgrade basic infrastructure to serve people's lives and activities, so that the roads have flowers, houses have numbers, and the qualifications of cadres are always improved...
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh also requested the government, cadres and party members in Dien Tho commune to uphold their responsibility to serve the people, respect, listen and join hands to resolve the legitimate aspirations and pressing issues of the people, continue to care for policy families and families with especially difficult circumstances in the area; coordinate with departments and branches to support people to effectively convert crops and livestock; promote the application of digital transformation in production and business.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented 20 gifts to poor households in Dien Tho commune. Dien Khanh district presented 10 gifts to policy families and near-poor households; Dien Tho commune presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances.
