Equipping AI knowledge for education management
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of An Giang organized a training conference on "AI Strategy for Primary Education Managers" for primary school specialists and primary school managers in the province. The aim is to equip them with basic knowledge and skills on artificial intelligence and its application in primary education management; enhance awareness and digital transformation capacity for managers in the education sector. Contribute to improving the quality of management and operation at primary education institutions in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province emphasized: “Artificial intelligence is an irreversible trend. From general education to university, from management to teaching and learning activities, AI is creating great opportunities, but also posing many new challenges.
For primary school – where the first foundation is laid for the comprehensive development of students – the scientific and reasonable application of AI in management and teaching is extremely necessary to improve the quality of education, optimize the operating process and support effective decision making. This is an important factor contributing to the implementation of digital transformation and the application of achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to professional activities in primary schools.
Through the training, delegates who are managers are equipped with knowledge: Overview of AI and application trends in education; development strategy and application of AI in primary education management; practice skills in exploiting and applying AI tools in management, operation, and evaluation of scientific, appropriate and practical educational effectiveness; enhance awareness and digital transformation capacity for managers in the education sector, contributing to improving the quality of management and operation at primary education institutions in the area.

Promote the application of technology in professional activities
In the 2024-2025 school year, the An Giang Education Department has issued digital signatures to 13,368 teachers, reaching 100% of the plan. The use of digital transcripts has been implemented for all primary school students.

At A Phu Hoa Primary School (An Giang province), 100% of teachers apply information technology to professional activities using electronic lesson plans and digital signatures; teachers' management and teaching activities are mainly operated on software. This not only saves paper, ink, and time, but the software with many outstanding features has helped teachers teach and manage students more easily and effectively.
Mr. Truong Kinh Nhon, who teaches Fine Arts, shared: Since the school created conditions and encouraged teachers to boldly apply information technology in teaching, each class hour of teachers has become more lively and attractive through diverse and rich visual images... Creating a passion for learning and creative interest in students. From there, the quality of the subject has also been improved to meet the goals of the 2018 General Education Program.

Mr. Lam Huynh Manh Dong, Director of the An Giang Province Continuing Education Center, added: Digital transformation has a particularly important meaning. As a training and fostering address for many students in the province, the Center clearly identifies the application of technology and digital transformation as the key driving force to improve the effectiveness of teaching and student management; diversify flexible learning forms such as online learning, learning via videos, digital documents, etc.
