Dinh Trieu is healthy
On March 13, after waking up, Dinh Trieu suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back. He was forced to skip the afternoon practice session that day to rest and receive care from the Vietnamese team 's medical team. Dinh Trieu was also taken to the hospital for a check-up to determine the exact extent of his injury. Fortunately, the injury was not too serious, and Dinh Trieu did not need an MRI scan.
By the afternoon of March 16, Dinh Trieu had returned to normal training with his teammates. Thus, at this time, the Vietnamese team has 4 goalkeepers: Nguyen Dinh Trieu, Nguyen Van Viet, Tran Trung Kien and most recently Trinh Xuan Hoang, who was recently called up by coach Kim Sang-sik to act as a backup plan in case Dinh Trieu withdraws from the team.
