British media have confirmed that Sesko has officially said goodbye to his teammates, and that his departure from Red Bull Arena is only a matter of time. The Athletic said the remaining question is whether Sesko will choose to play for MU or Newcastle.
On the evening of August 2, Sesko was even removed from the squad for the friendly match against Atalanta, a sign that his departure from Leipzig is not far away. Newcastle was the first team to act when sending an offer worth 70 million pounds, but the "Red Devils" have every chance to turn the situation around.
MU took advantage of Leipzig's desire to find a replacement for Sesko, with Rasmus Hojlund being the target. An exchange deal is entirely possible if Hojlund agrees to play in Germany. In the absence of an exchange, MU will urgently raise funds to compete with Newcastle.
