Recently, netizens shared images of tourists jostling to row inflatable boats at the Gaoguohe scenic area (Guizhou province, China).

Sharing with local press, the scenic area staff said that the inflatable boat jam was due to the influence of wind direction in the canyon. This problem only lasted a few minutes, after which everyone moved normally.
"When there are many people rowing the boat, there will definitely be congestion. We discussed this issue in a meeting and arranged staff to help avoid prolonged congestion," said the employee.
Summer is the time when many tourists come to Gaoguohe Scenic Area to go boating, with some days seeing 6,000 people. On weekends, tickets often sell out early, and visitors have to book many days in advance to get a spot.
