
Understanding the difficulties of people in flood-hit areas, Venerable Thich Tue Minh, Head of the Buddhist Guidance Board, Nghe An Provincial Buddhist Sangha, directed Buddhist Cao Huy (Chi Minh Dao) to launch the program "Towards flood-hit areas - Joining hands to overcome difficulties".
The campaign, imbued with the spirit of compassion, quickly spread and received the support of many Buddhists and many kind-hearted people in the province.

The delegation directly visited and presented gifts to people in many villages severely affected by natural disasters. The gifts were not only rice, necessities, and clothes, but also words of greeting and a loving presence while people were struggling to recover from the storm and flood.


During the 2-day journey, the delegation presented a total of 189 gifts to people in many difficult areas, specifically: 30 gifts in Huoi Tho, Dinh Son, Na Luong, Khe Ty villages (Huu Kiem 2 commune); 37 gifts in Binh Son 1 village (Muong Xen commune); 51 gifts in Huoi Cang 1, Huoi Cang 2, Phia Kham 2, Buoc, Na Kho villages (Bac Ly commune); 55 gifts in Xop Tu village (My Ly commune); 16 gifts in Lang Nhung village (Tam Quang commune); in addition, the delegation also presented many necessities and clothes to support people in Cua Rao 2 village, Tuong Duong commune.
The total value of gifts and items in this charity event is over 100 million VND .


Not only providing material assistance, the volunteer journey is also a spiritual connection, adding hope to the people in the flooded areas. The meaningful steps of Buddhists and philanthropists have contributed to spreading the spirit of mutual love in the community./.
