Asus became one of the first laptop makers to announce devices based on the new chip, with the compact ZenBook 14 OLED (UX3405) featuring a metal body that's 5% smaller than the previous generation model, and weighs just 1.28kg.

The new product is equipped with a 14-inch OLED display. The standard version has Full HD resolution, but users also have the option of a version equipped with a 2,880 x 1,800 pixel resolution screen. In both cases, the screen has an aspect ratio of 16:10. The panel offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 600 cd/m 2 , and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The screen is DisplayHDR 600 True Black certified. The design includes an AiSense camera that supports 1,080p resolution and 3D noise reduction technology.
At its maximum configuration, the ZenBook 14 OLED features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, integrated Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR5x-7467 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The base model comes with a Core Ultra 5 125H CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The key feature of the new Intel chips is that they have a special neural processing unit (NPU) designed to accelerate artificial intelligence tasks.
Despite the ZenBook 14 OLED's thickness of just 14.9 mm, Asus still includes a pair of Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) connections, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type A) port, and a combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 modules. The 75 Wh lithium-polymer battery promises up to 15 hours of operation without recharging. Users can use the Thunderbolt 4 port to charge the battery at 65W via the included USB-C adapter. The audio system includes Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos technology.
The Asus ZenBook 14 OLED will be available in early 2024 with a starting retail price of $1,299.
