Three 8th graders jumped into the river to save two drowning children.

On the morning of August 16, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Tran Huu Nghia - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach Son commune (Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh ), informed that a group of three local 8th grade students had just bravely swum into the river to successfully save two children from drowning.

At 5:00 p.m. on August 15, two siblings, aged 8 and 3, were playing at the foot of Do Diem bridge (connecting Thach My commune, Loc Ha district and Thach Son commune, Thach Ha district) when they unfortunately slipped and fell into the water.

At this time, Nguyen Trung Manh, Nguyen Thanh Cong, and Nguyen Anh Duan, all 8th grade students at Long Son Secondary School (Thach Son), were bathing nearby.

Discovering the incident, the children rushed to rescue the two children and brought them to shore.

Immediately afterwards, many people were present to help, the children received first aid and escaped danger.

It is known that the health of the two drowned children is now stable.
