In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation has focused on directing and operating comprehensive digital transformation work on 4 pillars: Developing digital transformation platforms, digital government, digital economy , and digital society. Up to now, 33/48 targets of the 2024 Digital Transformation Plan set by the Steering Committee have been achieved and exceeded. Propaganda work, raising digital awareness and digital skills have been focused on. The overall orientation on the application of information technology (IT), digital transformation and digital transformation models has been promoted by sectors, fields and localities. The province's key platform systems, applications and databases have been gradually formed, creating a foundation for the implementation and completion of IT and digital transformation application goals. Effectively connecting and exploiting the national population database. Online public services have many positive changes, the rate of online applications has increased significantly, especially at the district and commune levels. Information security and safety work has been well implemented. Digital transformation human resources have been gradually strengthened and developed. Policies and mechanisms have been issued promptly; support for digital transformation enterprises has been given attention. E-commerce activities continue to be strengthened. The digital citizen ecosystem has gradually developed.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the second quarter meeting on digital transformation.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committees of Digital Transformation at all levels and sectors to continue to promote the sense of responsibility, review the focal tasks, focus on directing and operating the key, key, and effective tasks, targets, and tasks set out. He noted the drastic and effective implementation of a number of important tasks: Restructuring administrative procedures; promoting online public services throughout the process; promoting Project 06 on applying data on population, identification, and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation. In addition, functional departments and sectors need to focus on completing the land database, building land use planning maps, land fund maps, sharing data and base maps to the Provincial Data Center. Develop, standardize, and clean existing specialized and state management database data to put into the Provincial Shared Data Warehouse to connect and integrate with the national database. Strengthen the development of digital human resources. Promote propaganda, dissemination, and raise awareness of digital transformation for people, businesses, and the whole society.
