On September 16, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , a working delegation of Nhan Dan Newspaper led by Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh presented 500 million VND to support people in localities affected by storm No. 3 and prolonged floods.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that along with the contribution of more than 300 million VND from 830 cadres, reporters, editors, and staff in the editorial office, Nhan Dan Newspaper also mobilized more from socialized sources to support people in flood-affected areas, the total amount of donations was about 500 million VND.

"Although the donation is small, it shows Nhan Dan Newspaper's heart to join hands with the whole country to support people affected by natural disasters to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives," said comrade Le Quoc Minh.
In particular, on October 5, Nhan Dan Newspaper plans to hold a concert with the participation of the world- famous band Bond. The event is part of the "Good Morning Vietnam" program series organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with IB Group, starting in 2023.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh said that all ticket sales from this event will be used to support people in the northern provinces who suffered damage from Typhoon Yagi and the devastating floods that followed the storm.
Speaking at the reception, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, thanked Nhan Dan Newspaper for its cooperation and contribution to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
He also expressed his gratitude to news agencies and the press in general, including Nhan Dan Newspaper, for promptly transmitting comprehensive information on all aspects to serve the flood prevention and control work of our entire Party, people and army.
