At the gift-giving ceremony, Head of the Party Building - Internal Affairs Department of Quang Tri Newspaper, Vo Thi Hoe, informed that in recent years, in addition to professional activities, Quang Tri Newspaper has actively coordinated with businesses, organizations and kind-hearted individuals to carry out social and charitable activities to help thousands of people in difficult circumstances and poor students in the province.

The program "Tet Gifts for the Poor" organized by Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation for many years has been a driving force contributing to supporting people in difficult circumstances to celebrate the traditional Tet of the nation warmly.

The family of Mrs. Tran Thi Thu Thuy (born in 1968) in Phu Oc village is poor. Mrs. Thuy is often sick, making life even more difficult and arduous. Receiving Tet gifts from Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund - VinGroup Corporation, Mrs. Thuy emotionally said: "Tet is approaching so I have many worries. With this meaningful gift, I have a significant amount of money to buy necessities for my family during Tet."

It is known that from January 1, 2025, Linh Hai commune will be merged into Gio Son commune. Currently, Gio Son commune has 68 poor households and 80 near-poor households. In the past, the locality has made efforts to mobilize to carry out poverty reduction work, but resources are still limited.

Therefore, the meaningful gifts from Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation will help the poor in the commune have more motivation to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
