NNT patient's health has stabilized after surgery to remove foreign objects from the intestines.

Specifically, patient NNT (68 years old, living in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) was hospitalized with intermittent abdominal pain, severe abdominal distension, and constipation.

Through tests such as ultrasound, abdominal X-ray and abdominal CT scan, doctors discovered that the patient had small intestinal obstruction. The patient was treated conservatively for 5 days but the condition did not improve.

On the 6th day, the doctors discovered a foreign object moving in the small intestine. After taking the patient's medical history, the patient said that he had recently swallowed a tamarind but thought it had been digested.

Doctors performed emergency surgery and removed the tamarind (3cm x 2.5cm) from the patient's small intestine and nearly 1.5 liters of moss fluid from the intestine. After surgery, the patient's health was stable.
