Speaking to the press, Mr. Dinh Tien Dung said that the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee is that first of all, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee must focus on directing the emergency water supply by tanker trucks or other appropriate measures to immediately meet the minimum living needs of the people; not allowing people to get water from far away, from many different sources that do not ensure hygiene and safety.

At the same time, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee directed the Department of Construction to take the lead, coordinate with the People's Committee of Ha Dong District, the People's Committee of Thanh Oai District and related units, such as: Cienco 5 Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company, Ha Dong Clean Water Company Limited, Duong River Surface Water Joint Stock Company, Da River Clean Water Investment Joint Stock Company, Nam Ha Noi Clean Water Joint Stock Company, Thanh Ha Clean Water Joint Stock Company to focus on handling difficulties, problems, and related arising issues, resolving them as quickly as possible to restore water supply to Thanh Ha Urban Area, with solutions to ensure stability and longevity such as building water supply stations, renovating the network system, connecting and regulating from different sources...
In case of difficulties or problems beyond the authority to resolve, they must be reported immediately to the City for resolution, including problems related to planning.
Ha Dong District Party Committee and Thanh Oai District Party Committee directed local levels and sectors to closely coordinate with relevant parties to resolve difficulties and problems to soon re-supply water to Thanh Ha Urban Area; proactively and promptly support and care for the lives of people with difficulties in clean water for daily life.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung also requested the Party Committee of the City People's Committee to review the situation of clean water supply for daily life in the whole area, take proactive measures to ensure stable water supply; and rapidly increase the rate of households using clean water for daily life in the southern area of the city.
The Party Delegation of the City People's Council, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and the City Inspectorate have measures to monitor, inspect, and examine the responsibilities of relevant agencies in accordance with Directive No. 24-CT/TU, dated August 7, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to prevent the situation of shirking, avoiding, and fearing responsibility from delaying the resolution of related issues.
