The program "Tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring At Ty 2025 took place at Quy Nuong flower garden (Thuong Tin town, Thuong Tin district).
Vice Chairman of Thuong Tin District People's Committee Bui Cong Than said that the program "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" aims to promote the tree planting movement to all classes of people, contributing to environmental protection and building a "Green, clean, beautiful" capital. Thereby, raising awareness of all classes of people about the role, effects and value of tree planting in socio -economic development, protecting the ecological environment, contributing to natural disaster mitigation and climate change adaptation.
According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Tin district, by 2025, the whole district strives to plant and care for 21,570 trees, including 5,300 shade trees and 16,270 fruit trees.
To achieve the above goal, the district leaders called on cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, students and people in the whole district to actively participate in planting trees in areas of agency headquarters, factories, schools, traffic routes, historical relic sites, agricultural land areas with difficult water sources, and riverbanks.
At the same time, the district has requested communes and towns to develop plans, select locations, positions, and types of trees to organize tree planting campaigns and implement them in a practical and effective manner; propagate and mobilize organizations, households, and individuals to actively plant trees; trees must be planted with the right techniques and must be cared for, managed, and protected so that they can grow and develop well.
