The Board has 8 Deputy Heads, who are Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee.

According to the Decision on establishment, the Steering Committee is responsible for inspecting and promptly resolving difficulties and problems in the process of project implementation.
In particular, for the North-South High-Speed Railway Project through the province, the Steering Committee is responsible for inspecting, urging and directing relevant agencies, units and localities to carry out compensation, site clearance and resettlement.
For the Quy Nhon – Pleiku Expressway Project, the Steering Committee will direct the implementation of the project to ensure goals, progress, quality and compliance with legal regulations.
