Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong received the delegation of the Japan Friendship Association

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, discussed with members of the working delegation of the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association of Fukushima province.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy and excitement when welcoming Mr. Owada Hiroshi and his delegation to visit Dien Bien. At the same time, he shared with the delegation about the geographical features, socio -economic development situation; the potentials and advantages of Dien Bien province. Accordingly, the province has favorable conditions to develop large-scale specialized agricultural and forestry production areas associated with the development of industrial crops for processing and product consumption. Some agricultural products of the province have brands, such as Muong Ang Coffee, rice grown in Muong Thanh Field...

Discussing the socio-economic development situation of Dien Bien province and the friendly and cooperative relationship between Dien Bien province and Japanese partners; the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that in the coming time, Japan could exchange knowledge on planting and caring for agricultural plants; Dien Bien and Fukushima province would establish a friendship association, and at the same time have cultural and people-to-people exchange activities.

Mr. Owada Hiroshi, Secretary General of the Association, was very grateful and happy with the warm welcome and affection of Dien Bien province for the delegation. At the same time, he and the members of the delegation discussed a number of areas in agricultural support and production activities in Vietnam. In addition, the delegation expressed their admiration and respect for the historical value of the Vietnamese army and people in the resistance war against foreign invaders.
