BIDV accompanies FDI enterprises

Recognizing the growing role of foreign investment in the development of our country, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) identifies foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) as an important customer segment. From there, it develops policies and financial packages suitable to the needs of this customer segment. Since 2016, BIDV has established the Foreign Corporate Customer Department to strongly promote relations with FDI customers. With a wide network of 1,100 branches, transaction offices at home and abroad and units specializing in serving FDI customers, BIDV is always ready to accompany FDI enterprises in the process of investing and doing business in Vietnam. Thereby aiming to increase value for the enterprise itself, the community and society.

As of December 30, 2023, BIDV is having relationships and providing products and services to nearly 7,500 FDI customers from many countries and territories such as: Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, ASEAN, EU, North America... In which, many customers are leading enterprises in key economic sectors today such as: Telephones, electronic equipment, textiles, petrochemicals, automobiles, motorbikes, real estate, food services, retail, animal feed, accommodation services, renewable energy... Enterprises operating in this field are actively contributing to promoting a dynamic domestic economic environment and shifting the economic structure towards more efficiency and sustainability. In addition, BIDV also provides a system of modern banking and financial products and services, in line with international practices to best meet the diverse needs of FDI customers. These include pioneering products in the market and traditional products that are digitized. At the same time, BIDV constantly researches and improves to provide FDI customers with optimal products, specifically designed to suit the needs of each customer group and the characteristics of each industry. Specifically, BIDV supports, facilitates and increases the connection speed between suppliers-distributors-consumers through chain financing products, digital technology, identity accounts, and competitive interest rates. Thereby, increasing the speed of cash flow circulation, creating value for the entire chain. In addition, FDI customers also highly appreciate BIDV's other outstanding products and services such as: Domestic/international payments, foreign currency trading, loans/guarantees, commodity/foreign currency derivatives, project finance, trade finance, ATM services and payroll, BIDV Omni iBank e-banking application with diverse language interfaces... In addition, BIDV is ready to provide values and comprehensive retail products for officers and employees at enterprises participating in the chain. As of December 31, 2023, BIDV's total assets reached VND 2.26 million billion; continuing to maintain its position as the joint stock commercial bank with the largest total assets in Vietnam. Consolidated pre-tax profit reached more than VND 27,400 billion; paid more than VND 6,200 billion to the state budget, among the leading enterprises in paying corporate income tax; ensuring shareholder rights and income for employees.
