Commendation and reward for outstanding teachers and students in the 2023-2024 school year

On May 24, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Ninh Thuan Provincial Radio and Television Station organized a ceremony to commend and reward outstanding teachers and students of the 2023-2024 school year.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education commended and rewarded 96 teachers who won prizes in the competitions for excellent teachers as team leaders, excellent primary school teachers, excellent high school teachers at the provincial level, and 151 students who won prizes at the provincial and national levels. Of these, 27 students won prizes for excellent students in high school cultural subjects at the national level, 2 students won fourth prizes in the national science and technology competition for high school students, 101 students won first and second prizes in the provincial competition for excellent students in cultural subjects, 21 students/11 projects won first and second prizes in the provincial science and technology competition for high school students in the 2023-2024 school year. The reward for teachers is 800,000 VND/second prize, 600,000 VND/third prize; The reward for students winning national prizes is 1,000,000 VND/second prize, 800,000 VND/third prize, 600,000 VND/encouragement prize and 4th prize in the science and technology competition; the reward for students winning provincial prizes is 800,000 VND/first prize, 600,000 VND/second prize from the Provincial Scholarship Fund.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tru, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, presented certificates of merit to the students.

This is an annual activity to honor good teaching and learning examples in the Education and Training sector, contributing to expanding and promoting the emulation movement "Good Teaching - Good Learning", improving the quality of human resources in the cause of promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration of the locality.
