Located on Hai Ba Trung Street, right in the heart of Hoi An ancient town, Ba Mu Pagoda (or the three-door gate of Ba Mu Pagoda) is one of the oldest relics, built in the 17th century with the names Cam Ha Palace and Hai Binh Palace.
This pagoda plays an important role in the spiritual life of Hoi An people in general and the Minh Huong community in particular.

After many renovations, the three-door gate of Ba Mu Pagoda still retains its ancient features. Unlike traditional pagodas that worship Buddha, this place worships deities in folk beliefs, mainly related to protection, childbirth and children.
That is why the ancient people of Hoi An often called it simply "Ba Mu Pagoda" and this name is still passed down to this day.

Although most of the main items of the pagoda no longer exist, only the three-door gate is preserved, but this item has become a typical symbol of the relic, an indispensable destination in the journey to explore Hoi An.
The temple gate is built of baked bricks, covered with yin-yang tiles, with pillars carved with sophisticated Asian patterns. The green moss covering the roof and brick walls creates a nostalgic beauty, reminiscent of ancient vestiges in the heart of the bustling old town.
The space around Ba Mu Pagoda is quiet, with a hint of silence, making every frame taken here seem to carry the breath of time. This place not only attracts tourists but is also a familiar destination for many photographers, filmmakers and those who love cultural heritage.

Visitors can visit Ba Mu Pagoda for free. To get beautiful photos, you should come early in the morning when the space is still quiet or at sunset. The sunlight reflecting on the lake in front of the pagoda, combined with the beautiful patterns on the three-door gate, will definitely bring satisfactory photos.
Ba Mu Pagoda is not only a beautiful photo spot but also has great cultural and historical value. With its unique architectural beauty and peaceful space, this place promises to bring visitors unforgettable experiences.
