In the first 6 months of 2025, Binh Dinh province welcomed more than 6.5 million tourists, earning 16,000 billion VND, a strong growth compared to the same period in 2024.

On June 17, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held a press conference to announce the socio -economic situation in the first 6 months of 2025 with many positive signals.

According to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, in the first 6 months of the year, the tourism industry of this province had very positive growth.

Specifically, there were more than 6.5 million visitors and tourists to Binh Dinh in the first half of the year, an increase of 13.5% over the same period in 2024, with total tourism revenue of 16,000 billion VND.

To achieve the above results, Binh Dinh province has organized many festivals and events to attract tourists.

Some major events and festivals include: Binh Dinh Food Festival II, Summer Tourism Festival 2025, VNExpress Marathon 2025.

In particular, the new tourism product is a railway tourist train named Ve mien dat vo (Ve mien dat vo) with outstanding services that have brought new and attractive experiences to tourists coming to Quy Nhon, while enriching the province's tourism products.

Budget revenue from land use fees is... money begets money

Regarding budget revenue, the total state budget revenue of Binh Dinh province in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at nearly 9,300 billion VND, reaching 53.3% of the year's estimate, up 43% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic revenue is 4,312 billion VND, revenue from land use is 4,586 billion VND.

Regarding the fact that land use fees account for a high proportion of the province's total budget revenue, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said there is no need to worry about this.

According to the chairman of Binh Dinh province, budget revenue from land use fees has been regulated to be spent only on development investment, not used for regular expenditure purposes.

Therefore, in the context of developing localities, land revenue will become a very valuable source of investment capital to promote local development, this is "money begets money".
