Binh Dinh fires high-altitude fireworks for the first time

On the afternoon of May 21, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province informed that for the first time, the province will organize a high-altitude fireworks display to respond to the National Tourism Year 2024 and promote the Binh Dinh tourism brand as "A safe destination with unique characteristics, civilized, friendly and attractive".

Accordingly, the high-altitude fireworks display is expected to take place for no more than 15 minutes, at 10 p.m. on June 8 in Quy Nhon City, right after the opening ceremony of the summer tourism program "Quy Nhon - Sea Paradise - Shining Development".

According to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the program "Quy Nhon - Sea Paradise - Shining Development" with many activities bearing unique local characteristics is expected to be attractive, widespread, and create a deep impression on people and tourists.

Binh Dinh hopes that through the program, it will promote the image of Binh Dinh land and people, Binh Dinh tourism; stimulate tourism, attract tourists and investors to Binh Dinh, contributing to accelerating the development of tourism and local socio-economy .

Distinguishing between low-altitude and high-altitude fireworks

According to Decree 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government on management and use of fireworks:

- Low-altitude fireworks are fireworks with a diameter no larger than 90mm or a range no greater than 120m.

- High-altitude fireworks are fireworks with a diameter of over 90mm or a range of over 120m.
