BTO- In Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, the Singing Festival for the Elderly in the Central and Central Highlands regions has just taken place.
The festival was attended by more than 200 actors and musicians from 14 provinces and cities in the region. The Binh Thuan delegation had 10 actors selected from Ham Thuan Bac district. Binh Thuan brought to the festival a program with 5 performances; the content praised the homeland of Binh Thuan , the country, praised Uncle Ho, and the Cham culture. The oldest person in the delegation was 74-year-old Bich Lien with the song "This place Uncle Ho passed through". The most impressive were the Cham dances illustrating the performances. As a result, the delegation won the C prize for the whole delegation, actor Thong Van Trinh (Cham ethnic group, 57 years old, Ham Tri commune) won the award for best elderly actor with the song "Cham village thanks Uncle Ho".
The festival created a joyful, exciting atmosphere, encouraging and motivating the elderly to live happily, healthily and usefully; contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the elderly; affirming the effectiveness of the mass art movement of the Elderly Association at all levels and having a wide influence, attracting the participation of a large number of elderly people. The festival also created opportunities for mass art troupes of the elderly from different provinces to exchange and create, and have a passion for art to participate in performances...
