The key to completely overcoming the 'supply-demand relationship'

At the question and answer session on the afternoon of June 19, delegate Do Thi Viet Ha ( Bac Giang ) raised the issue that organizing many different tests and assessments of capacity, besides its advantages, this method also increases the pressure of the exam. For candidates living far away, they have to travel and incur expenses.

On the other hand, students also have to review many different contents and types of questions, reducing the time to focus on the main curriculum. "What is the Minister's opinion on this and what are the solutions to overcome it in the future?", the delegate asked.

Meanwhile, delegate Tran Thi Thu Hang ( Dak Nong ) cited the ministry's report, assessing that the situation of "disguised tutoring" in many forms is still quite common, showing that there is still a gap between policy and practice.

Parents of students consider classroom learning to be insufficient to meet the requirements of exams, and need to seek extra classes as an inevitable solution to improve learning outcomes. In my opinion, the two above-mentioned problems can be considered a supply-demand relationship, Ms. Hang said.

According to the delegates, the solutions proposed are only focused on improving institutions and administrative management. However, the key issue to completely overcome this 'supply-demand relationship' is to improve the quality of teaching and learning during regular school hours. However, the report did not provide any specific solutions.

"So what are the solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning during regular school hours?", the delegate asked.

How to check and monitor school meals?

Delegate Nguyen Hoang Uyen ( Long An ) mentioned ensuring food safety in school meals. According to the delegate, many school meals still do not meet the demand.

Some food poisoning cases at schools have even caused many students to be hospitalized, seriously affecting students' health and causing anxiety among parents.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son continued to answer questions on the morning of June 20.

“How does the Minister evaluate the inspection and supervision of school meals in the past time? In the coming time, what effective solutions does the Minister have to thoroughly resolve this problem?”, the delegate asked.

The question-and-answer session with Minister Nguyen Kim Son will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. After that, relevant Government members will "share the fire" with the Minister and the National Assembly Chairman to make concluding remarks on the second group of issues.

Immediately afterwards, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh will report to clarify related issues and answer questions from National Assembly deputies.
