Attending the meeting are expected to be Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) Nguyen Van Hung, leaders and representatives of the Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Olympic Committee and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
Because U23 Vietnam has released the camp for players to return home or to their clubs, it is expected that only head coach Kim Sang Sik and some players will attend the meeting with the ministry's leaders.
At 9:00 a.m., Minister Nguyen Van Hung, on behalf of leaders at all levels, is expected to present certificates of merit and rewards to the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 champions.
Previously, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy signed Decision No. 2673/QD-BVHTTDL on awarding certificates of merit to 5 individuals in the Vietnam U23 team. The ministry commended Mr. Tran Anh Tu (head of the Vietnam U23 delegation), Mr. Do Anh Van (interpreter), Mr. Nguyen Truong An (doctor), Mr. Vu Anh Dung and Mr. Luu Quang Loi ( medical staff), for their achievements in supporting Vietnam U23 to win the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship.

At the same time, the ministry also submitted to the Prime Minister a certificate of merit to U23 Vietnam. With this championship, Vietnam entered the history of Southeast Asian football by standing at the top of glory 3 times in a row at the U23 regional level.
The championship also boosts confidence for Vietnamese youth football on their journey to regain the highest medal at the 33rd SEA Games taking place later this year in Thailand.
