Training and updating knowledge on implementing social assistance policies

On the morning of July 9, in Tuy Hoa ward, the Department of Health coordinated with the Department of Social Protection (Ministry of Health) to organize a training course to improve capacity, update knowledge and professional skills on implementing social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries in 2025 for more than 210 officials implementing social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries at the People's Committees at the commune level and social assistance facilities in 102 communes and wards in the province.

During the 2 days (July 9 and 10), the trainees were informed by the reporters about related contents such as: Clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of the provincial and communal levels in the field of social protection, prevention of social evils; pension policy; overview of the system; online registration and settlement of social assistance policies...

At the same time, trainees were trained in transferring district-level databases to commune-level databases; practicing information systems and social protection target databases; and instructing and practicing the software system for registering and resolving online social assistance policies.

Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said: The training course aims to support the staff implementing social assistance policies at the grassroots level to improve their knowledge, skills and ability to apply new regulations into practice; towards administrative reform, saving time and costs for both people and staff.
