Some endemic, rare, and migratory species are located in the reserve such as: Yellow-tailed lizard, cotton squirrel, Nicobar pigeon, white-bellied sea eagle, branch coral, table oyster, pearl oyster, shrimp, fish, etc.

"Conserving natural ecosystems, characteristics, biodiversity, and unique natural landscapes of island clusters to serve scientific research, education, ecotourism, adventure tourism, and resorts," the decision of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province clearly stated.

In the immediate future, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the management of the Ca Mau Provincial Marine Protected Area according to regulations.

In the long term, when the marine reserve is qualified to meet the needs of service exploitation and is expected to have a self-balancing revenue source, the province will consider establishing a separate Management Board.
