On the evening of November 29, at the Closing and Award Ceremony of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024 at the City Theater, singer Bich Thuy - the 9th child of the late musician - Meritorious Artist Bac Son - was moved to learn that the musical "Bong Canh Co" composed by her father was honored.

"My family and I are extremely moved and proud when the play "Bong Canh Co" - one of the lifetime works of my father - the late musician - Meritorious Artist Bac Son - was honored at the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024.
