(Dan Tri) - Singer Phuc Anh had memorable experiences during a week-long trip through the provinces of Lao Cai , Tuyen Quang and Thanh Hoa.

Sharing about the journey with the volunteer group of the project "54 Vietnamese ethnic groups" to remote schools near the border area, Phuc Anh said: "There were some roads where we had to travel for 6-7 hours in the dark and dense fog.

Our small convoy weaved through steep passes, at times almost unable to see anything ahead. Those were heart-stopping moments, but they motivated us to keep moving forward."

The difficulties along the way seemed to disappear when the volunteer group was warmly welcomed at each destination. Notably, when arriving in Thanh Hoa (Phuc Anh's hometown), the volunteer group participated in the sacred flag-raising ceremony at Na Meo border gate.

"Being able to sing the national anthem at the source of the Fatherland, I felt extremely proud and moved. It was a sacred moment that I will never forget," the female singer shared.

The most emotional moment was when Phuc Anh returned to Truong Son Primary and Secondary School, Nong Cong district, the school she used to attend.

"Returning to my old school, meeting my teachers and singing, I feel like I'm reliving my childhood. I'm even happier when I see that today's children have better learning conditions than before, although there are still certain difficulties," Phuc Anh emotionally shared.

As planned, the delegation will continue their journey to other regions across the country and at each location, students representing local ethnic groups will color a 54-petal lotus painting - the project's consistent symbol.

"When the project ends, the 54-petal lotus painting will be completed and auctioned, all proceeds will be donated to the fund to continue supporting students in difficult circumstances," Phuc Anh shared.

"Each trip is a valuable lesson about life, determination and faith. The clear eyes and innocent smiles of the children in the highlands are the motivation for us to continue our journey of bringing love to all parts of the country," Phuc Anh confided.
