Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will open their doors to visitors for free on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will open free admission to the Ho Chi Minh Museum; the National Museum of History; the Museum of Fine Arts; the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theatre and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism from September 1 to 3.

At the collective meeting of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the implementation of a number of key tasks of the Ministry in the coming time, held on the afternoon of August 1, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung directed: To serve the people coming to Hanoi to attend activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed to open free entrance to the Ho Chi Minh Museum; the National Museum of History; and the Museum of Fine Arts from September 1 to September 3.

The Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will also serve visitors free of charge during this time.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the collective meeting of the Ministry's leadership on the afternoon of August 1.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the free admission to museums, the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism was implemented with the spirit of serving the people, while also contributing to promoting and attracting tourists to the capital on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
