The group's latest technological innovation is the Alpha 900, a UAV designed and manufactured primarily for maritime missions.
With a powerful internal combustion engine, the ability to fly up to 4 hours and a large payload (can carry up to 4 kg), the Alpha 900 has been successfully tested, capable of taking off and landing on warships moving at sea.
This type of UAV is specially designed for naval forces and coast guards, serving intelligence, surveillance, target approach and reconnaissance at sea.
AUS drones have attracted particular interest from many navies. The Greek Navy, the Indonesian Coast Guard, the Spanish Ministry of Defense , and the US Department of Defense have all ordered UAVs from the manufacturer, which is considered a leader in this technology.
The deployment of the Alpha 900 aircraft is part of AUS's cooperation with the Spanish Armed Forces through exercises such as the recent REPMUS 2022 and the upcoming NATO Dynamic Messenger 2023. These exercises aim to increase the participation of unmanned vehicles in NATO naval operations.
