The 2025 Independence Day will be held at the provincial level; the event will last for 4 days (from August 30 to September 2, 2025), and will be held in Than Uyen commune. The leading agency is the Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee. The implementing agency is the Than Uyen Commune People's Committee. The coordinating agencies and units are the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; provincial departments, branches, and sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards, and related organizations and individuals.

At the meeting, delegates heard the assignment of tasks to members of the Organizing Committee for Independence Day 2025.

Within the framework of the meeting, delegates listened to the leaders of Than Uyen commune report on the implementation of organizing activities for Independence Day in 2025. Accordingly, by the time of the report, Than Uyen commune had issued Plan No. 346/KH-UBND, dated July 30, 2025 of the People's Committee of Than Uyen commune on organizing activities for Independence Day, Cultural and Sports Festival of Than Uyen commune in 2025. At the same time, the commune directed specialized agencies to advise on the development of drafts: Decision to establish advisory and support subcommittees; Decision to establish the Jury, Referee Team; Decision to mobilize actors; Regulations and Charters of cultural and sports activities within the framework of the event...

Comrade Chairman of Than Uyen Commune People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee presented a report at the meeting.

In addition, Than Uyen commune has agreed with the units organizing sports activities at the event on the time, location, and selection of the race route to ensure technical and safety conditions according to regulations (KOMOMO Than Uyen International Race 2025, Motorized Paragliding). At the same time, renovate and repair the commune stadium; direct the promotion of propaganda work on the commune radio and television system, the commune's electronic information page; social networking sites (Facebook, Zalo, Youtube, Fanpage) ...

In the coming time, Than Uyen commune will continue to develop a Plan to coordinate the organization of the KOMOMO Than Uyen 2025 International Run and Motorized Paragliding; mobilize the masses to participate in the solidarity dance "Sparkling colors of Than Uyen - Lai Chau " (expected about 2,000 people) and the force participating in the Flag Raising Ceremony (expected more than 1,000 people). Develop a script for the Art Program and the dance, organize practice and plan the practice time from August 20, 2025; promote propaganda before, during and after the Independence Day event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Preparations must be thorough, each activity must have a specific, detailed scenario, clear assignment of tasks; manage Flycam flight activities in accordance with regulations; promote the mobilization of human resources to carry out on-site activities mainly. When conducting the race, there must be a clear and public map, each route must have a guide, medical staff and ensure safety and security for athletes.
