In the first 6 months of the year, the Elderly Association at all levels has closely followed the political tasks of the province and effectively carried out the Association's tasks. Patriotic emulation movements of the elderly continue to be promoted. The work of caring for and promoting the role of the elderly has been carried out in a diverse and rich manner, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of members.

On the occasion of Tet, the Elderly Association at all levels coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to visit, give gifts, celebrate longevity and wish longevity to over 69,000 elderly people in the province; implement the elderly protection regime in a timely, adequate and guaranteed manner.

Implementing the program "Bright eyes for the elderly", 148,705 elderly people were screened for eye diseases; of which 9,705 had cataract surgery.

Cultural, artistic, sports and physical training activities to improve the spiritual life of the elderly are promoted in all localities.
