As of July 14, Da Nang airport welcomed more than 49,300 flights landing and taking off with more than 8.1 million passengers, reaching more than 56% of the yearly plan (of which domestic passengers were more than 4.6 million, accounting for 57%; international passengers were more than 3.5 million, accounting for 43%) and the total volume of goods was nearly 20.3 million tons, reaching 50.32% of the yearly plan.

Specifically, if the night before the DIFF 2024 final, Da Nang airport welcomed 159 flights, an increase of 30 - 40% compared to weekdays, then by DIFF 2025, this number had increased to 171 flights on July 11 (an increase of 14% compared to the estimated average frequency of July 2025) and an increase of 40% compared to the first 6 months of 2025.
By July 12, the day of the DIFF 2025 final between Jiangxi Yanfeng (China) - the current runner-up of DIFF 2024 and Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) - participating in DIFF for the first time, Da Nang airport continued to welcome 165 landing flights, including 55 international flights, an increase of 28 flights compared to the average frequency of the first 6 months of 2025.
According to Mr. Phan Kieu Hung, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the domestic aviation market has grown significantly compared to the same period last year; the international aviation market to Vietnam has also seen certain growth with many routes opened. In that general context, the production and business situation of Da Nang International Airport continues to maintain stability and develop.

At the same time, it achieved impressive results with 2 consecutive years 2024 - 2025 being recognized by the international air transport rating organization Skytrax as "Top 100 best airports in the world ".
In particular, Da Nang International Airport absolutely ensures aviation security and safety, preventing any incidents related to aviation security and safety that threaten flight operations. In the first 6 months of 2025, 93 cases of aviation security violations, 17 cases of illegal transportation of items, and 1,200 dangerous items were handled.
