In "Walking in the Bright Sky" episode 16 airing tonight (August 21), after being determined to "turn Hanoi upside down" to find Pu (Ceri Thu Ha), Chai (Long Vu) invited two close friends to go to Hanoi to find Pu with him. All three got off at the bus station in Hanoi and were overwhelmed by what they saw - towering buildings, as tall as hills in the village where they lived.
Before that, after knowing that his son had followed Pu, Mr. Chieu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) ran to Mr. Xuon's house. He saw that his son was so infatuated with Pu that he thought Pu had given Chai some kind of "love potion". But immediately after that, Mr. Chieu lowered his voice and begged Mr. Xuon to call Pu and tell Chai to come back soon. He was extremely anxious because he was worried that his son would be careless in Hanoi and might even cause trouble.
In episode 16, Pu finally answers Chai's call but only says he's in Hanoi and hangs up. In another scene, Chai and his two friends are locked up in the police station for some unknown reason, and Mr. Chieu has to bail them out.
In another development, at Mr. Vinh's (Meritorious Artist Duc Khue) boarding house, Pu meets Thai (Vuong Anh Ole) again - the guy who picked corn but can't remember clearly, just feels familiar...
