On the evening of June 16, District 5 Police (HCMC) is coordinating with relevant units to clarify the cause of the fire at a two-story house in Ward 13.
At around 8pm the same day, a fire broke out at a house on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, Ward 13, District 5. Upon discovering the incident, some residents tried to put out the fire but were unsuccessful. The fire quickly spread and engulfed the second floor of the house.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of District 5 Police mobilized many officers, soldiers and fire trucks to quickly arrive at the scene to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.
According to witnesses, the house where the fire broke out was a paper business. At the scene, authorities approached the fire from many directions, successfully rescuing an elderly woman and moving many belongings out.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are being investigated and counted by the police.
