These are the key points in the "High-tech human resource development project in Gia Lai province for the period 2025 - 2030" shared by Quy Nhon University at the press conference announcing enrollment information for 2025 and preferential policies for students studying semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, and network safety and security.

Accordingly, the project is implemented with the goal of training at least 7,500 highly qualified engineers, bachelors and experts to meet the needs of developing high-tech industry in Vietnam. This is one of the province's key strategies to anticipate the trend of digital transformation and develop high-tech industry nationwide.

According to the project, Quy Nhon University is assigned the key role in implementing the project, with a shared semiconductor technology laboratory system invested up to 120 billion VND. This is one of the most modern laboratories in the Central Highlands region, serving training and in-depth research.

Specifically, students studying 4 majors in semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, cyber safety and security under the project, including: Electronics and telecommunications engineering (major in Microchip design), Engineering physics (major in Microchip processing, packaging and testing technology), Artificial intelligence (AI) and Information technology (major in Cyber safety and security), will enjoy many support policies on finance, tuition fees, scholarship policies, internship opportunities, career development locally, domestically and internationally.

Accordingly, students can borrow credit from the provincial Social Policy Bank to pay tuition fees and Gia Lai province will support 100% of the interest during the entire study period. In particular, if students commit to working in the province for at least 3 years after graduation, the province will pay all tuition fees. In addition, students with academic results ranked as Good or higher will receive the school's study encouragement scholarship worth equal to or higher than the tuition fees paid.

In addition, students also have the opportunity to be selected to receive scholarships sponsored by the school's partner businesses. Not only receiving financial support, students also receive priority accommodation in dormitories and practice and research with modern equipment systems in high-tech laboratories.
