On November 12, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just sent a notice to Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai, Phan Van Hieu, about his application to meet Chairman of the People's Committee of the province Dang Van Minh at the regular citizen reception in November.
Accordingly, on November 6, Quang Ngai province received an application from Mr. Phan Van Hieu to register to meet with Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh at the regular citizen reception day.
Mr. Hieu's application has 4 contents related to state management of science and technology from 2017 to 2023.
According to the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, these contents are the responsibility of the collective leadership of the Department of Science and Technology to report and explain to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in performing the task of state management of science and technology in the province.
In which, there is the responsibility of Mr. Phan Van Hieu as a civil servant, leader of the Department of Science and Technology.
The announcement of the Provincial People's Committee stated: "Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh refused to receive Mr. Phan Van Hieu at the regular citizen reception day held on November 15 to consider and resolve according to the provisions of the law on cadres and civil servants related to the performance of public duties and obligations of cadres and civil servants, especially the responsibilities of the head".
Mr. Phan Van Hieu (born in 1973) has a PhD in Economics. He used to hold leadership positions at the Quang Ngai Province Cooperative Union, Deputy Secretary of the Nghia Hanh District Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Province Union of Science and Technology Associations.
In January 2021, Mr. Phan Van Hieu held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
