India-Vietnam Multi-Industry Business Meeting Program

On the afternoon of July 16, an Indian business delegation led by the Confederation of Indian Industry met with Vietnamese businesses to explore the potential for trade and investment cooperation.

On this occasion, the Embassy of India in Vietnam organized a business exchange event with the presence of Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment Nguyen Anh Tuan and many businesses of the two countries operating in many fields, especially pharmaceuticals, agriculture, information technology and manufacturing.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Ambassador of India to Vietnam Subhash Gupta expressed his wish to promote cooperation and economic, trade and investment exchanges between Vietnamese and Indian enterprises based on the close political and long-standing cultural relationship between the two countries.

With advantages such as rapid economic growth and a young workforce, Vietnam is currently an important partner of India in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strategy and vision of security and prosperity for all countries in the region. The Confederation of Indian Industry is actively supporting member businesses to seek opportunities to expand cooperation and exchange and develop with Vietnamese businesses.

At the event, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Agency Nguyen Tuan Anh gave an in-depth analysis of the socio-economic context, investment environment and potentials and advantages of the Vietnamese market for foreign enterprises.

Presenting a specific development strategy, including perfecting the legal system, improving the business environment, and enhancing the quality of human resources, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh affirmed Vietnam's commitment to creating favorable conditions for businesses of the two countries to cooperate and develop together.

This visit by the Indian business delegation is expected to open up many new prospects, building a stronger bridge for trade and investment relations between the two countries with rapidly developing economies in the region.
