The boat had not been fishing for a year when the environmental pollution pandemic broke out. No one bought the fish.
Debt upon debt, Mr. Nhan chose to cross the border to change his life. From that mistake, he dragged himself and his family into tragedies.
The story of the world has been in production for a very long time: from 2018 until now (there was a temporary pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
The production crew once shared that they decided to make the film because they saw in Nhan's family the confusion of a human life, confusion before the rapid changes of industrialization and of a fast-paced life.
The wrong choice made his life unstable - prison - empty-handed, but the story also sparkles with love, friendship, father and son, husband and wife.
Two episodes of The World will air at 8pm on June 19 and July 3 on VTV1.
The film was directed by Ta Quynh Tu - who has made documentaries full of life such as Hai Nguoi Tre, Mien Dat Hua, Chong Vo, Duong Ve, Ranh Gioi.
His films won many awards at the World Television Awards, Kite Awards, Vietnam Film Festival, Hanoi International Film Festival, National Television Festival, Press Awards, VTV Awards.
In early 2024, he received the title of Meritorious Artist.
