Speaking at the program, Director of Nghe An Department of Foreign Affairs Tran Khanh Thuc affirmed that with more than 1.6 million people of working age, Nghe An has great potential for human resource development.

Mr. Tran Khanh Thuc assessed that the German Career Guidance Bus is a practical initiative, not only providing information about studying and working in Germany but also promoting the German-standard vocational training model right in Vietnam. This is a meaningful bridge between the two countries in the fields of education and culture.

Mr. Simon Kreye - Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Hanoi shared: “On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam, we wish to inspire and provide information to young people across the provinces and cities, and at the same time affirm that Germany always welcomes the talents, ideas and dreams of Vietnamese people - today and in the future”.

At the program, students and parents were directly consulted on issues that are often of concern when planning to study, learn a trade or work in Germany such as: Safe and legal labor migration to Germany; opportunities to study a trade in Germany or receive German-standard technical vocational training right in Vietnam;...

In addition to in-depth consulting activities, the event also offers interesting cultural experiences, helping the Vietnamese public get closer to Germany. Participants can explore Germany through VR technology, learn about student life at top universities, enjoy typical cuisine and listen to genuine sharing from alumni who have been and are successful in Germany.

The German Career Coach Tour is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany (1975-2025). The project aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration and expand access to international labor markets for young people in Vietnam.

The project provides consultancy activities on studying, career, living in Germany as well as studying and training in German standards in Vietnam in a large-scale, mobile form, from North to South, through 16 provinces and cities with 19 stops. The project also affirms the German Government's commitment to promoting a model of close cooperation, linking schools - businesses - the state, with learners at the center.
