According to Tuoi Tre Online , after a trial period, Nguyen Hai Huy and Huynh Tuan Linh officially signed contracts with Bac Ninh Club on July 31. These are the two most prestigious contracts that Bac Ninh has had since its establishment.
Hai Huy and Tuan Linh's contracts are both for 1 year. The salary, bonus and benefits were not disclosed by both parties. However, the figures offered by Bac Ninh satisfied both players.
Nguyen Hai Huy and Huynh Tuan Linh, both born in 1991, are two of the "monuments" of Quang Ninh football. Both are highly skilled players in the V-League, proving their abilities in the colors of their clubs (often in the best teams of the seasons) and the national teams.
The peak of Hai Huy and Tuan Linh's domestic career was in the 2021 season. Here, Hai Huy led Than Quang Ninh Club to maintain the top 2 ranking in V-League and compete for the championship. The top team at that time was Hoang Anh Gia Lai with goalkeeper Tuan Linh in the goal.
Unfortunately, V-League 2021 was canceled due to the pandemic, making it impossible for Hoang Anh Gia Lai to be crowned, and Than Quang Ninh had to disband due to salary and bonus arrears. Hai Huy and Tuan Linh's careers have been more difficult since then.
However, more than a year later, Hai Huy still maintains his class and was called up by coaches Park Hang Seo and Philippe Troussier to the Vietnam national team to play international friendly matches in 2022 and 2023.
At the age of over 30, Hai Huy and Tuan Linh still have the form and physical strength to play in the V-League. However, with the attractive offer from Bac Ninh and the desire to help the weaker team get promoted, the two players agreed to experience a new environment.
With the ambition of reaching V-League, Bac Ninh also recruited foreign coach Paulo Foiani, former captain of Hanoi Police Club. The team is expected to announce its foreign player quota in the near future.
