The first Mexican Food Week, co-organized by the Mexican Embassy in Vietnam and the restaurant community in Ho Chi Minh City, is a "very special way" to celebrate Mexico's National Day.

Mexican Food Week brings the flavors and traditions of the culturally rich Latin American country.

From September 15-22, Mexican food lovers and food-curious people will have the opportunity to experience unique cuisine during the first Mexican Food Week.

This unprecedented event takes place on the occasion of the 213th anniversary of Mexico's Independence Day (September 16, 1810) and promises to take diners on an emotional journey through the richness of Mexican culinary culture, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

The first Mexican Food Week in the city named after Uncle Ho will have the participation of Mexican restaurants representing the authenticity and diversity of Mexican cuisine such as District Federal, Agave Saigon, Xolo Tequila Bar, Tacos Fuego, Gringo Tacos y Cantina, Tippy's Mexican Food...

This week-long event is not only an opportunity to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine but also to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Mexico. Diners will enjoy Mexican dishes meticulously prepared by professional chefs and immerse themselves in the traditional atmosphere of the Latin American country.

Sharing about this unique event, Mexican Ambassador to Vietnam Alejandro Negrín said: “Gastronomy is a global language that transcends borders and cultures. The first Mexican Gastronomy Week in Vietnam is an initiative of our Embassy to bring our two countries closer together through our passion for food.

Mexico has given the world many wonderful products such as avocados, tomatoes, corn and peppers. And this time, we bring to Ho Chi Minh City a unique culinary experience... Through each delicious bite, you will discover the diversity and richness of Mexico, and I am sure you will enjoy an unforgettable experience".

According to the Mexican diplomat , the upcoming Gastronomic Week is "a very special way to celebrate Mexico's Independence Day and a testament to the strong friendship between our two countries."

According to the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Minh Anh - who promoted this initiative, Mexican cuisine "is a blend of flavors, colors and traditions" and each dish in the upcoming event is "a masterpiece with fresh and authentic ingredients".
