I am on a 2 week trip to Egypt and plan to go to Israel next week. I am still waiting to see what happens to the next leg of my trip.

Reading articles on VnExpress , I see that the war situation is quite tense and not convenient for tourists like me. However, I see that flights are still operating and many places are still peaceful. Should I continue my planned journey or not? I have already booked my flight and hotel.

Thanks!

According to Phuc Anh, a tour guide for a travel company that takes tourists to Israel who are about to return to Vietnam, most foreign tourists are currently looking for ways to leave the country. Many flights are delayed and canceled. Those who want to find earlier flights are unable to find new tickets. The airport is quite crowded with people waiting for their turn to fly.

However, according to this tour guide, except for the tense war zones near the Gaza Strip, which are also famous tourist destinations such as Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, or the Dead Sea area, other places are "relatively safe".

There are still groups of tourists who can follow the itinerary to visit the Sea of Galilee, the largest freshwater lake in Israel and the place where Saint Peter, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ, once lived as a fisherman. Most of them are groups waiting for their turn to fly home, unable to change to earlier flights.

Currently, tourists in Israel are being cared for by local travel companies and facilitated by the Ministry of Tourism to get the latest information and return home safely.

Mr. Phuc said "we should consider going to Israel at this time" because "it's hard to predict anything."
