Green spread across most industry groups, securities and banking groups supported by CTG, STB, VCB, BID, TCB, SSI, VDS, BSI, CTS. In addition, big names also increased well such as FPT , GVR, MWG, MSN.
At the end of the morning session on September 18, VN-Index increased by 12.02 points, equivalent to 0.95% to 1,270.97 points. The entire floor had 272 stocks increasing and 85 stocks decreasing.
Entering the afternoon session, although the height has decreased, the green color is still preserved, VN-Index still maintains the resistance level of 1,260 points.

At the end of the trading session on September 18, VN-Index increased by 5.95 points, equivalent to 0.47% to 1,264.9 points. The entire floor had 231 stocks increasing, 148 stocks decreasing, and 87 stocks remaining unchanged.
HNX-Index increased by 0.66 points to 232.95 points. The entire floor had 78 stocks increasing, 75 stocks decreasing and 67 stocks remaining unchanged. UPCoM-Index increased by 0.35 points to 93.47 points.
CTG and VCB led the market's increase, contributing a total of 1.7 points. BID and TCB were also in the top 10 with positive impacts, contributing a total of nearly 1 point. Green still dominated the banking group, with only a few stocks ending the session in red, such as SHB , EIB, NAB, MSB, LPB, NVB, TIN.
Similarly, green spread across the stock group, notably HCM, SSI, VIX, VND, SHS, VCI, MBS, VCI, FTS. The entire industry only had 4 declines: BVS, APS, EVS, DSE and some reference codes such as TVB, CSI, WSS, ART, PHS, VUA, HAC.
The technology group also prospered when 3 codes SRA, ST8, SRB increased to the ceiling. In addition, the giant FPT increased by 1.28% to 134,600 VND/share and contributed more than 0.6 points to the market. The remaining codes mostly ended the session in green.
Meanwhile, the real estate group lost points due to the "loss of breath" of Vin stocks. Three codes VIC, VRE, VHM took away a total of 0.5 points from the market. In particular, DLG in the industry also hit the floor to 1,660 VND/share. However, there were still some codes that increased points such as DXG, DIG, NVL, BCR, TCH, NTL, TIG and notably FIT, VHG, PV2, PWA hit the ceiling.

The total order matching value in today's session was VND20,388-15,134 billion, up 26% compared to the previous day, of which the order matching value on the HoSE floor reached VND18,546 billion. In the VN30 group, liquidity reached VND11,030 billion.
Foreign investors net bought 311 billion VND in today's session, of which they disbursed 1,921 billion VND and sold 1,609 billion VND.
