The 2024 Sharm el Sheikh 3-cushion carom billiards World Cup takes place from December 1 to 7. On the first day of competition, players will compete in the first qualifying round, including two Vietnamese players, Nguyen Dinh Luan and Nguyen Hoan Tat.

Dinh Luan is the first Vietnamese player to play at the 2024 Sharm el Sheikh World Cup. He is in Group F with Badr Tabak (Egypt) and Frank Spruzina (Germany). In his opening match, Dinh Luan will face Badr Tabak at 4 p.m. (Vietnam time). Depending on the result of the first match, Dinh Luan will play the remaining match in Group F at 7 p.m. or 10 p.m.

Nguyen Hoan Tat is a world-class player of Vietnamese 3-cushion carom billiards.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoan Tat is in Group B with Henk Overmars (Netherlands) and Giuseppe Tiranno (Italy). Hoan Tat will play from the second match of Group B at 7pm (Vietnam time), against the loser of the match between Henk Overmars and Giuseppe Tiranno. The Vietnamese player will play the decisive match of the group stage at 10pm.

All matches of the Sharm el Sheikh 2024 World Cup will be broadcast live on the SOOP Live platform (link: https://billiards.sooplive.co.kr/schedule/113).

The first qualifying round of the 2024 Sharm el Sheikh World Cup has 48 players competing, divided equally into 16 groups. In each group, players compete in a round-robin (with a draw) to calculate points and rank. The top player in each group will advance to the second qualifying round taking place on December 2.

At the 2024 Sharm el Sheikh World Cup, Vietnamese billiards has 11 players competing, including: Nguyen Hoan Tat, Nguyen Dinh Luan, Le Thanh Tien, Nguyen Chi Long, Thon Viet Hoang Minh, Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu, Tran Duc Minh, Chiem Hong Thai, Bao Phuong Vinh, Tran Thanh Luc and Tran Quyet Chien.
