The author and singer of the song is Nguyen Hung, one of the actors in the movie, playing the role of a soldier.
He wrote this song in the early days, right in the stage of "breaking" the script with his co-stars. At the recent film showcase event in Hanoi , Nguyen Hung hugged a guitar, wore a soldier's uniform, and sang this song with the most simple feelings.

In the film, Nguyen Hung - lead singer of the band MAYDAYS and the owner of the hit Magic - plays Hai, a young soldier in the 1st squad fighting in the Citadel. The character has a thorny personality, inner depth and is also one of the emotional highlights of the film.
Hai is one of the young men with a promising future but because of patriotism he was ready to take up arms and go to the front line to protect the country.
In each boy of squad 1, dreams, passions, and romantic feelings are still full, but before their eyes is the brutal war.

Director Dang Thai Huyen shared on July 28: "Today, I officially left the mixing room to have time to relax and listen to the entire song composed by a member of Squad 1, inspired by the movie Red Rain. I still remember the first melodies of this song when Hung was just in the stage of "breaking" the script, practicing with his co-stars.
At that moment, I was very emotional. A very clear image appeared in my mind: one day, Hung and Squad 1 would put their arms around each other, singing that song together on the stage introducing Red Rain.
And that wish has come true. Red Rain doesn't know what the road ahead will be like, how much the audience will love it. But for me, this is a film that has a great "fate" with music.

Regarding the musical connection of the film Red Rain, director Dang Thai Huyen promises that when the audience watches the film, they will understand more about this.
